Seminar First Aid at Work
Course Description:
This first aid course is the standard training recommended for workplace first aid providers. It’s also good for anybody who wants to be able to help during a medical emergency. Medical emergencies related to ill health or an accident can happen anywhere at any time – this course will ensure you know what to do.
By the end of the seminars the participants will be able:
- To recognize life-threatening situations.
- To offer vital assistance before more experienced help arrives.
- To advance your first aid training to the next level.
- To perform scene assessment
- To perform CPR and handle the following:
- Chest pain (e.g. heart attack)
- Dislocations
- How to use an AED (automated external defibrillator)
- Broken bones
- Burns
- Soft tissue injury
- Asthma
- Stroke
- Seizures
- Bleeding
There are 3 types of First Aid Seminars:
1. First Aid for High Risk Workplaces: 18 Hours Training
Training for people working in storage places, construction sites, factories etc.
Cost of the seminar: €20 Χ 18 hours X Number of Participants
Subsidy: 100%
2. First Aid for Low Risk Workplaces: 6 Hours Training
Training for people working in offices, shops etc
Cost of the Seminar: €20 Χ 6 Hours X Number of Participants
Subsidy: 100%
3. Defibrillator Training: 6 Hours
Training for high and low risk personnel for defibrillator
Cost of the Seminar: €20 Χ 6 hours X Number of Participants
Subsidy: 100%
