The purpose of the specific program is the education and training of the staff of businesses and organizations, for modern ways and innovative solutions to save energy, proper environmental management and efficient management of energy and resources by businesses, with the aim of reducing their environmental impact
By the end of the seminar the participants will be able to:

• To justify the choice of energy upgrading solutions that they will propose for their organization
• To properly manage high energy consumption – carbon footprint equipment , applying innovations and new approaches
• To demonstrate the energy costs from the operation of the electromechanical systems of their organization
• To perform economic and technical analyzes of energy investments for green buildings taking into account the experiences of other countries and pioneering companies
• To perform environmental assessments for solutions to reduce the environmental impact of their organization’s buildings by applying innovations and new approaches
• Demonstrate the environmental sustainability of solutions based on life cycle analysis
• To justify the development of Renewable Energy Sources systems in their organization’s buildings
• To demonstrate the competitive advantage of buildings with zero energy consumption

Chrysanthos Marouhos is a Graduate Electrical Engineer, a graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a Master’s Degree ( MEng ) in Energy Technologies and Sustainable Design from the University of Cyprus and an MBA from Cyprus International Institute of Management . He is an Energy and Environmental Management Consultant, with over 13 years of experience as a Business Consultant in energy transition solutions and strategies, energy conservation, renewable energy sources and carbon footprint reduction. He has been running his own Consulting Office for several years and has implemented very important Projects, both in Cyprus and in Greece, as a Chief Energy Auditor and Sustainability Consultant. He is a member of the General Council of ETEK since 2023 and General Coordinator of the “Energy Policy, Natural Gas, Energy Saving and RES” Committee of ETEK. He has written extensively on the topics of energy conservation, energy storage, green transition, RES and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. He is also a visiting professor at a private college in Nicosia.
